Why we exist
Words can pull you back to yourself
The Right Words Movement began from a simple belief: the right sentence, heard at the right time, can interrupt despair. It can favour hope over numbness. It can remind someone — maybe you — that they still matter, and that their life is still worth making the most of.
We collect and share inspirational sayings and positive quotes not as decoration, but as companions. For the heavy mornings. For the quiet nights. For anyone who needs a gentle hand on the shoulder and a clear path forward.
This is a movement of uplift, film-adjacent in spirit: the same hope that might one day live on a screen already lives in a sentence you can carry in your pocket. The heart of it starts here — words that lift, heal, and inspire you to be all you can be.
We are not the UK Right Words Project, nor any other organisation with a similar name. We are a quiet Canadian-rooted movement dedicated to uplifting language — honest bylines, public-domain treasures, and original Movement affirmations written for the hard days.
On curation. Our library prefers public-domain sources and clearly attributed lines. Where we write our own affirmations, we label them as Movement affirmations. We do not invent celebrity quotes.
